Dear C.C. Secretary / Forum Rep.
ASDA – INVERNESS.
As I’m sure you are aware, the Asda Planning Application for Slackbuie, in Inverness is now to be the subject of a Public Enquiry. When the application came before the Council’s Planning Committee in January, elected members overwhelmingly approved it. Michael Gimson, representing Lochardil & Drummond CC, spoke on behalf of the supportive Community Councils in the immediate area.
At the forthcoming Public Enquiry, Michael will again lead the case in favour of the application. The group are keen to gauge the reaction of other CCs in the wider Inverness Area and to that end, have asked if you could raise the issue as an Agenda item at your next CC meeting. Following this, could you please send your CCs response to this matter to me by Monday 2nd. June. The feedback will then be discussed at our next meeting on 3rd. June.
Your co-operation would be very much appreciated and your CCs view would be welcomed.
Yours sincerely,
Stan Munro, Minute Secretary, Inverness Area CC Forum. |
