It is always terrible when there are warts growing on you. Having a wart is not only very unsightly, but it also poses a strong danger to people you are in close contact with as this skin disease is highly contagious. One can also check with a dermatologist to schedule a minor surgery known as curettage. Basically, it is a process that uses a surgical instrument called a curette. It is known for its prominent thin loop at the end. It is the thin loop, mostly made of tough wire, that is used to scrape the surface of the skin to slowly flatten the wart. The scraping will continue until all traces of the wart is gone.
A more advanced method is to use laser technology. A beam of light is focused on the wart and the surrounding skin. Usually, what the laser does is to vaporize the surface, thereby killing the tissue. It is expected that the area will bleed after the laser surgery and may even develop a scar. To ensure permanent removal, at least four sessions are needed. Intensity may be involved in this practice, but it is one of the processes that promise to take out warts for good.
Avoid Using Duct Tape
Those who attempt to remove the warts on their own often rely on the duct tape because they have heard its effects. Unfortunately, there has been little proof to back up this theory. Even if it does help, it would take more than three months to see the results, compared to the methods that have been mentioned above.
